What is a CAUSE for Celebration Fundraiser Pop-Up? 

 

What’s a better CAUSE for Celebration than helping others give back to what matters most to them! Fundraiser parties are a fantastic way to show your heart through your Trades of Hope business by helping others meet a financial need. 

Setting up your Fundraiser Pop-Up

: 

STEP 1: Fill out the Fundraiser Request Form found in the Pop-Up Tab of your Hope Portal, or under Pop-Up Tools in Hope Central. 

STEP 2: Once you get confirmation from Home Team that your cause has been approved, you will set up your Fundraiser Pop-Up in your Pop-Up Manager by choosing ‘Fundraiser’ as the Pop-Up type. 

STEP 3: Run your Fundraiser Pop-Up using the tips in the video below. 

STEP 4: Close out your Pop-Up by looking into your Pop-Up Manager and clicking “close Pop-Up”. (There will be no options for Hostess Rewards.) Pop-Up must be a qualified Pop-Up with a minimum of 3 orders and a qualifying Pop-Up total of $150 or more. 

STEP 5: Use the follow-up techniques taught in the training below to follow up with the guests and customers from the fundraiser. 

STEP 6: You will be responsible for sending a minimum of 10% of the Qualifying Pop-Up Total to the cause within 30 days of the Pop-Up Close Date. Trades of Hope will also send a check to the cause for 10% of the Qualifying Party Total 30 days after the Pop-Up close date. 

STEP 7: Re-book another Fundraiser for 6-12 months out to raise funds for this cause again!

FAQs

Who can host a Fundraiser Party?

New and Previous customers can host Fundraiser Parties to raise donations for their approved organization of cause. 

Affiliates may host Fundraiser parties as a Customer using their Customer Account to host for a Partner for their approved organization or cause. 

Partners may host Fundraiser Parties, but cannot be the recipient of the donation. Therefore, Partners may set up Fundraiser Parties for the causes they care about. 

*All organizations and causes will be looked at on an individual bases, and must first be approved by Home Team via the Fundraiser Request form. Checks will not be sent to the Partner in any circumstance, therefore, Partners may only host for an approved organization or cause. Trades of Hope has the right to deny any request, or ask for more information from the cause or organization before the Fundraiser request is approved. 

Does the cause need to be a 501(c)(3) or non-profit organization?

While we suggest that your cause is a 501(c)(3) or not for profit organization, we also understand there are many great causes outside of those categories. Please submit your request on the form attached to the Fundraising Page and the Home Team will approve or deny the request.  

Examples may* include: 

  • Local Humane Society 
  • Mission Trips 
  • Summer Camp Tuition 
  • Private School Tuition 
  • Church Fundraiser

How much will be donated to the cause?

Once the Party total reaches $150 with a minimum or 3 orders, Trades of Hope will donate 10% of the Qualifying Party total.  

Trades of Hope will mail the check to the cause or organization listed on the form 30 days after the Party Close Date. 

The Partner holding the party is required to donate a minimum of 10% of the Qualifying Party Total. The Partner may choose to donate more, and must send her donation no later than 30 days after the Party Close Date. 

*The Partner is required to pay applicable taxes on all commissions earned through the party, regardless of donation amount. 

Are there any Hostess Rewards given on Fundraiser Pop-Up?

Because of the donation, there will be no Hostess Rewards given on Fundraiser Pop-Up. 

If your Hostess would like Hostess Rewards, please choose a Home or Online Pop-Up type. You can also offer to do a Fundraiser Pop-Up now, and book a Home or Online Pop-Up for the future. 

Do Fundraiser Pop-Up count towards Elevate Days?

Because of the donation, there will be no Elevate Days given on Fundraiser Pop-Up. 

If your Hostess is passionate about giving Elevate Days, you can offer to rebook with her for a Home or Online Pop-Up in the future so she can give days to Elevate Academy and earn Hostess Rewards. 

Is there a maximum Party Total for Fundraiser Pop-Up?

There is no maximum Pop-Up Total on Fundraiser Pop-Up!
