It’s Launch Party Time!

Launch Party: Home Party:

You can simply use the contents of your Join Collection and follow the simple outline below! Some people choose to serve light snacks and refreshments, but this is not necessary! 

Set Up & Preparation: 

• Set up your Display using the items in your Join Collection
• Set out light snacks & refreshments (optional)
• Check if you have access to WiFi or Smart Cast, or a way to share a video on the TV or a Laptop
• Check the Product Status Page in Hope Central to check which items are out of stock, on low inventory or unavailable.
• Have your Party Link ready to copy and paste into a Text Message
• Have your Lookbooks & order forms ready ready, but do not pass them around until the end of your presentation so guests are not distracted while you’re talking!

Kick Off:

• Welcome your guests as they arrive! Since this is your launch party, you probably personally know most of the guests!
• Mingle & introduce others who are joining the party!

Party Time:

• Start by sharing your heart behind your new Trades of Hope business, share how you heard about Trades of Hope and why you said YES to this joyful journey of Partnering with Artisans around the world!
• Share one or two of your favorite pieces from your Join Collection and pass them around, or use the Kindred Blog as Cue Cards to tell Artisan Stories of the pieces you’re wearing and sharing. You can do this by going to your Replicated Website and clicking on Kindred Blog at the top, you can then search for a certain piece, or a certain country. This will bring up quick-read blogs that you can read to your guests. (You can also find the item on your replicated website link and click “+Meet the Artisan”.
• Open up a new text message in your phone and pass your phone around and have each guest enter their phone number into the To: box. Once you have all of their phone numbers send a text message with the Party Link so each guest can open the party link right from their phone! Point them to the Kindred Blog page and have them all look up the same product, or Artisan. Ask one of your guests to read allowed the Artisan Story. (TIP: This will also be a way to get and save new contacts into your phone! You can send a follow-up text in a few days to the group in a few days!)
• You can also find the product you’re passing around on your replicated website under the Shop Button, and click the Drop Down that says: “Meet the Artisan +” this will open up a quick-read Artisan Story from an Artisan who makes the product you’re showing.

Time to Shop & Wrap Up:

• The end of your presentation is when you will pass around the Lookbooks & order forms and invite guests to come look and feel the products you have on display. (You will save the lookbooks for the end so guests are not distracted when you’re giving your presentation!)
• You can either place the order for them at checkout by using a laptop or phone, or you can take the order forms home and enter them later following the steps in the next lesson!
• End your presentation by sharing about how shopping, hosting and joining keeps the ripple of change going. You can share the Elevate Booking Video and let all of your guests know that you’ll be asking each one of them to book a party with you! https://vimeo.com/586808161

Check Out Chat:

• Ask each and every guest to book a party with you! Have your calendar available and give 1-2 dates you have open “I actually have my calendar here, I have Saturday the 3rd at 4pm, or Thursday the 9th at 7pm, which works best for you?”
• Since your Launch Party will likely be people that you know personally, talk to them and have them share what they loved! “Mary, I know you have such a heart for Human Trafficking, and I would love to connect with you one-on-one to talk more about the mission behind Trades of Hope!”
• Tip: If you ask, and they say no, that’s ok!!! You will follow up with each guest in about a week, and you can ask again. A no right now is not a no forever!
