Yesterday we 
CeLeBrAtEd the sales of the Shine Gift Set, which went live to the public on Tuesday.
In that post, we celebrated the 19 sales that created donations of Mama Kits to provide safer births in Uganda, which is fantastic. BUT we misspoke. That figure did not include the Shine Gift Sets purchased by you, our AMAZING Partners, who totally ROCKED it by buying an additional 29 within the early access window so you can continue to promote this set to your customers.
Your 29 Partner Store purchases, the 19 sets sold Tuesday, and yesterday’s sales, all combine to reach a VERY impactful 53 Mama Kits so far to be provided to expectant mothers to safely give birth in Uganda.
In order to give birth in most hospitals or clinics in Uganda, you must purchase all of the necessary supplies and bring them with you. If you do not have the supplies you will often be turned away. Many of the women cannot buy the supplies, so they do not seek medical care, which often leads to complications and even death for the mothers and babies. We LOVE partnering with Mercy for Mamas to help women in their time of need!!
